In order to be eligible for a Taxicard you should either:

Be receiving the Higher Rate Mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance |
|
Be registered as blind (being partially sighted does not allow automatic entry) |
|
Be receiving a War Pension Mobility Supplement |
|
Proof that you are in one of the above categories will be required.
If you are not in one of these categories you may still apply, but you will need to get a section of the application form signed and stamped by your GP and/or may have to provide further information or be required to have a mobility assessment. |
